The Emperors of Chocolate: Inside the Secret World of Hershey and Mars By Joel Glenn Brenner - 1999
I read this book in hardback and it's fascinating. Forrest Mars was a far differnt person than M.S. Hershey. As read this book I realized that to understand Hershey, you also must understand Hershey's chief rival: Mars.

Built on Chocolate; The Story of the Hershey Chocolate Company By James D. McMahon Jr. - 1999
This book is probably the lushest Hershey book in terms of photos. A must for any Hershey collection. Produced by Dart Flipcards using the vast resources of the Hershey Community Archives. Of particular interested are the large number of boxes and labels from the Lancaster plant before milk chocolate and before the town of Hershey.
